A creation of Particle Kid (Micah Nelson) and Sunny War, each artist recorded five original songs and one cover.

This four song EP was released during covid. As many musician were out of work, Sunny plowed though with a look into the future where Sunny would eventually become an international star.

Sunny has been making a name for herself through prodigious guitar work, vocals and incisive songwriting which culminates on these recordings.

This album marks a reunion of Doors members, Ray Manzarek, Robby Krieger and John Densmore backing up Pulitzer Prize nominated poet Michael C Ford.

Simple Syrup has a vibrant, loose feel, with songs that that deal with romance to politics. The popular song “Lucid Lucy” is a feature of this album.

Recorded live at Bernie Larsen’s Ojai Underground Exchange by Bernie Larsen. Mixed by Niko Bolas, then Micah warmed it up with his 4-track tape cassette machine.
